I found that a newly created system where QB is freshly deployed doesn't see this problem.ġ. Maybe system resources aren't sufficient. To me, it could be system specific issue or related to OS environment. This thread started in 2014 and today it is 2018, so not sure if this issue persists for such a long time and intuit never fixed in any of the subsequent versions. This sometimes feels something to do with QB as rest other applications works fine. I have been observing this issue on multiple users accessing QB from different locations.
